Today we present a different kind of plumcake, with coffee!
This recipe is as simple as it is delicious, and in very little time you will have an original breakfast or dessert to surprise your guests with.
The coffee plumcake is a very soft cake with a rich flavour and an intense aroma that will give you the right energy to start the day.
INGREDIENTS (recipe for 6 people)
– 200 g Moka coffee
– 250 g “00” flour
– 125 ml seed oil
– 200 g sugar
– 1 tablespoon sweet cocoa
– 1 packet of baking powder
PREPARATION
Before we start, we would like to recommend the perfect blend for this recipe: Aroma Espresso, a coffee blend suitable for preparation with Moka.
First of all start by preparing the coffee with the moka. Once ready, leave it to cool down.
Combine sugar and eggs in a bowl and whisk until light and fluffy. Gradually pour in the oil and the coffee, prepared earlier.
In another bowl, sift the flour together with the sweet cocoa and baking powder and finally add the two mixtures. You should obtain a smooth cream, then pour it into a cake mould covered with baking paper.
Bake your cake at 190° for 20 minutes in a static oven, then lower the temperature to 160° and cook for a further 45 minutes.
Let the cake cool down.
If you wish, sprinkle it with icing sugar, but it will be delicious even so, enjoy!
